Position Summary Information

Basic Function

Classroom and Clinical Adjuncts to teach in various departments including:

Nursing, Emergency Medical Services, Medical Office Assistant, Sonography, Radiography, Respiratory, and Health Occupations

Duties and Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

Supervise an assigned group(s) of students in the classroom, clinical, or laboratory setting. Supervision includes but is not limited to:

Prepare appropriate materials and learning activities for students to achieve learning outcomes

Orient students to the clinical setting

Facilitate students’ provision of safe patient care, observe students’ performance and provide feedback

Demonstrate and maintain a professional relationship with agency staff, faculty and students

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Unencumbered Michigan Professional License, and/or Professional Membership

Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification for the Health Care Provider

Documentation of evidence of immunity to communicable diseases, negative TB skin test and Hepatitis B series.

Masters Degree Preferred
